Governments and Regulators

At Pulse, we work with governments and healthcare regulators across the developed and developing world to advise on policy and regulation, including the comprehensive benchmarking of other countries, and the launch and roll-out of mass population technology-led solutions, with an ultimate goal to create a healthier society.

Our work includes a significant focus on thought-leadership and education, coupled with a deep analysis of specific in-country healthcare pressure points.

Our team are driven by a deep desire to drive operational efficiencies and cost containment while at the same time seeking to improve the quality and access of healthcare to all, and to substantially improve outcomes.

We are strong advocates that in many markets there should be a seismic shift in terms of the allocation of healthcare budget away from bricks and mortar practices, into digital healthcare tools that focus on prevention over cure, and value based outcomes.

We have deep domain expertise in working with governments on the roll-out of mandatory health insurance across mass populations, and the authoring and delivering of new and updated telehealth legislation. We have authored a number of digital health white-papers, conducted numerous consumer workshops and roundtables across multiple markets and are experts in consumer behaviour change and utilization.

Case Study:

Middle East’s first
Telehealth White Paper

We have previously provided strategic advice on the regulatory and licensing environment for the delivery of telehealth services, successfully lobbying key stakeholders to update legislation to include the ability for licensed telehealth companies to prescribe through approved digital health platforms, as well as championing doctors’ rights to be able to work remotely.

Our work saw us conduct a deep analysis of the digital health regulatory landscape across a number of Arab countries, as well as authoring the MENA region’s first ever telehealth white paper, the UAE Telehealth Report, in Q1 2018.

Thought Leadership and Education

Our team are extensively involved in thought leadership and education at a government and regulator level, including the positive lobbying of key stakeholders to create an environment that encourages digital innovation in healthcare.

We have authored numerous articles on digital health, chaired a number of global digital healthcare conferences and are regular print and radio contributors on the subject of digital health.
